CE Courses For Dental Clinicians

  • *Assessment and Customized Sessions: $120/hour with a 2 hour session minimum. We can also set up (3) 2-hour sessions for $600.

  • Natalia leads our Spanish and Nutrition courses, and Joan leads all instrumentation

  • We are registered in California. If you’re out of California, your board may approve Smile Sisters as a provider. As of now, we only provide CE’s for dental professionals.

    Some states provide an application for approval of an out of state course offered by an unregistered provider for your state, so check your state’s dental board website for details.

  • Fun, personalized instruction!

    As healthcare providers, we know how boring some classes can be (we’re looking at you, infection control), and we want you to be engaged and have a good time during our courses.

    We keep the participant group small enough that we can interact and give you the attention you need.

Dental Offices

  • Consultation fee $500 (4-5 hrs) where the Education expert will shadow and connect with staff

    Customized plan ranges from $750 - $1500 Based on 1-2 days of calibration of 4-5 hrs per day

  • In order to provide you with the best service, we allow our Smile Sister enough time to evaluate and create a customized plan for your office, and that requires at least one night between assessment and calibration.

  • Joan leads all calibration sessions

  • A Smile Academy expert delivers 1-2 days of education on-site at your office. You’ll learn updates and review instrumentation techniques and will include rational and hands-on training. ​Topics will include grasp, fulcrum placement for both exploring and hand scaling, positioning, reinforcement, advanced instrumentation, and better access to the base of the pocket and furcations/depressions. This course will also explore patient scenarios in which these techniques are best utilized.

  • Yes! All qualifying dental professionals will receive a CE certificate. If you are outside of California, you may need to submit an application to your state board for approval.

  • We serve the greater Los Angeles area. If you are outside of this area, contact us to discuss travel fees.

Dental Hygiene Schools

  • Customized plan ranges from $900 - $1800 Based on 1-2 days of calibration of 4-5 hrs per day. (Travel expenses are an additional cost)

    More than 10 faculty will need additional Education Experts and will add additional costs

  • Joan leads all calibration sessions. For large groups, more Education Experts will join her.

  • A customized calibration where a Smile Academy expert delivers 1-2 days of education on-site at your school. This course will include a didactic portion and a clinical hands-on portion (if program can coordinate clinical time). Faculty will learn updates and review of instrumentation techniques that will enhance and help overcome the challenges of periodontal debridement within a clinical academic setting from both students and faculty. This course will include rational and hands-on training. ​
